What an incredible year it has been at the Dream!
This year, even as we continue to navigate the challenges of the pandemic, we also see the light at the end of the tunnel.
We will still face new obstacles and unexpected challenges, but this past year and a half taught us how much we can accomplish together, and how resilient we can be.
I remain immensely grateful for the incredible support of our community. Without the Dream family – each and every one of you – we would not be able to accomplish the important work we do daily. Without your belief in our students and their bright futures, we would not be where we are today: stronger and better than ever, and able to help those around us.
Wrapping up the school year will always be bittersweet; as we launched those bright-eyed seniors in to the world in to the world in June, we were already preparing to welcome new Dreamers for Summer Intersession. There were tears, and excitement, and so much joy and pride as we celebrated the accomplishments of our amazing teachers, staff and students at the end of the school year. I could not be more proud of our students or our team.
Our team has seen growth and change over this past year, and we are encouraged as we learn from the past and look to the future. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your commitment to An Achievable Dream. Together, let’s walk forward into the future as we build bright futures for our Dreamers and generations to come.
With all my gratitude,
Lee Vreeland, Ed.D.
